New Paintings from South America and San Miguel

This is the beginning of the new paintings i have completed in the past week from the images of my trip to South America and San Miguel Mexico. Inspired by the dance of love ...the tango i am painting a series of tango dances and the tango band. The dog in the painting was a Cafe Dog SOLD in the town of Colonia accessible by ferry from Buenos Aries. Dogs seem to take up residence at different cafes and thus belong there. The painting of the morning wash in San Miguel was on the roof top of our hotel. Each morning the women workers would do the wash and climb up a winding spiral staircase to hang the wash out to dry.
